by PatronusIn front of you is a pile of objects. Your aim is to remove them one by one without disturbing the red blocks. If you are smart, and somewhat lucky, you will remove all the objects and receive a new pile to work with. The more objects you remove in sequence, the faster your score increases.
If you reach the point where no further objects can be removed without disturbing a red block, you may press the "skip" button to skip to the next screen.
The point is - if you know what you are doing, you may play for quite a while. You may, theoretically, play forever. But don't let your attention wander for a moment. At some point, no matter how smart you are, your game will come tumbling down.... learn moreFebruary 6, 2010

by PatronusThe First World War has just started. Enemy planes are flying in great numbers past your position. You are armed with an anti-aircraft gun and your mission is to shoot down 80% of them. Simple? Think again.
The game has a realistic twist. Just like in real life, your bullet has a finite speed and trajectory that makes it harder to shoot targets the further they are. The technique of shooting at moving targets is called "leading". The further away the target, the higher you aim, to compensate for the effect of gravity on the bullet. Likewise, the farther away a moving target is, the further in front of it you should aim.
Your anti-aircraft gun has an infinite number of rounds but this will be of little use if you can't hit the target. For that reason we have included a practise screen with large, bright targets.
Aiming and shooting is easy. Simply touch the screen and the visor (or crosshairs) will come into position. As long as you touch the screen, the gun will fire. It will briefly stop firing when you move it quickly across the screen.
The percentage of aircraft shot down is displayed at the bottom of the screen.

by PatronusObstacle Pool is a fast-paced game that will keep you busy for hours. The objective, as with regular pool, is to clear the table. The white ball is used to shoot, the black ball should remain on the table until last. Nothing new. The twist here is that there are objects on the table that will test your skills to the limit. They will reflect the balls, making it harder and much more interesting than regular pool. There are also only red balls on the table, not coloured ones.
The physics engine accurately reproduces the movement of balls on the pool table as well as the interaction between them. This also goes for other objects... The player can adjust the aim and velocity with great accurately and in an intuitive way. Accurate sounds gives this game a well-finished feel.
Rules:
There are 14 red balls and 1 black ball on the table. The objective is to first shoot (or "sink") all the red balls and then the black ball into the pockets at the sides and corners of the table. If the white ball ever gets into one of these pockets the game is over. Likewise, if the black ball is sunk prematurely, the game is over.
Unlike regular pool, you don't have to touch a red ball with every shot. So, you can line up the white ball at will to get out of (or into) a difficult position. learn moreDecember 3, 2009

by PatronusThis application is the iPhone equivalent of a keyboard pounder for toddlers. It is designed to keep them occupied and rewards their interaction with interesting object movements. It is not complex and suitable for little ones who haven't developed the skills to follow a chronological game sequence yet.
The theme of the application is gravity & the interaction between interesting objects. Every button pressed results in an object appearing on the screen. Some bounce, some roll over the screen, some fly. They realistically interact with when coming into contact with each other.
The more buttons the child press, the more fun they have. And there's nothing to break.
Whereas dads may find the game somewhat pointless (hey - it was designed for the little ones!), they will hopefully enjoy the realism offered by the physics engine. learn moreNovember 28, 2009
