  • DEMO_Wielding_Lightsaber - rebump

For UtopianGames. A slight modification to CodeMonkey's dual joystick demo. Reminds me of the old Bilestoad game of the early 1980s. You may want to, upon enemy collisions with the actual jedi body, compute a magnitude() check to account for the jedi actor actually including his arms/hands and the empty space around them. Didn't really have a lot of time to polish it up. learn more

  • Collision_Problem_Fixed - rebump

For FireMapleGames (aka Joe). I think it is working fine now. I made sure all your blocks were positioned on the non-fractional pixel (i.e. use a position of 133 instead of 133.5 like you had). Then I constrained the player (blue) actor's "self.Position.Y" to "ceil(self.Position.Y)". After doing so, I can now run back-and-forth continually without a hitch. It is all about even numbers with GS it seems. Since you are using non-scene controlled gravity, if you have objects that will move along the ceiling with reverse gravity, use "floor()" instead. learn more

  • DEMO_Waving_Back_and_Forth - rebump

For Draper3000. Just some waving in a controlled manner. There are game attributes to control the hand wave sweep (in degrees) and wave speed. To keep them more in sync, you may have to make each one operate off of a *single* wave movement with appropriate offsets. As it is right now, each one is generating their own movement and since each one is parsed by the execution engine at a slight time difference, they slowly come out-of-sync. Although, when uploaded to the site and ran, they seem to stay in sync pretty well! learn more

  • DEMO_Chainsaw_Rotation - rebump

For UtopianGames' usage. I think you will need to adjust your green "tank" and "chainsaw" actors' center lines a bit, they appear to be off a bit.I use the "InvisibleRotator" actor (which is currently a little visible) for the control since your "tank" may take a non-round and/or non-rotating image at some point (i.e. faeries flying around a wizard or whatever). learn more
